Spring Horse Show

Can't believe its 80 degrees today in North Texas. Makes me so excited for the Red Hawk Ranch Horse Show March 25-26.

We are thrilled to join the North Texas Hunter Jumper Club's show roster and we look forward to hosting our very first hunter jumper show. The prize list is now published on our website, www.redhawkranch.org as well as the NTHJC website, www.nthjc.com.

Our ranch is 70 acres of rolling, coastal bermuda pastures with two ponds and live oak trees for shade. Our indoor arena is 125' x 200' with professional footing with a clay base. The arena is fully enclosed by 5-rail pipe fence. Our outside arena is 125' x 200', completely level footing, fully fenced on sandy loam grass. If its warm enough, feel free to swim with your horses in our ponds to cool off.

We will be hosting Jumpers on Saturday and Hunters on Sunday. We have plenty of trailer parking near the pond and under the live oak trees. When your not competing, feel free to take a ride around the ranch.

We have special gifts for each trainer who brings their students to the shows - HINT HINT -- goes well with gourmet food. Also, we have special division Champion prizes, not your same ole saddle pad for this show! SKH Designs will be on show site to collect your horses tail hair to make a one of a kind keepsake, a fashion bracelet made of your horses own hair! I have several of these bracelets - one for every horse I own. I cherish them and they last forever! Who wouldn't LOVE that!

We will also have artisans on site, painting horses and making horse jewelry. Our resident chef Kelley Leannah will be fast at work grilling his famous brats, hamburgers and hot dogs and you won't want to miss his breakfast tacos and smoked brisket sandwiches. Ice tea, cokes, coffee and water to round out the meal.
